2026 Meetings 

  • March 23rd, 7pm at Tabor United Methodist Church  – Emma Hartman, Guest Curator for the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center, will present her research on the demographics of the Perkiomen Valley Region in the 18th century. Her research with the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center sought to tell a fuller story of who lived and worked in the region during the time of the American Revolution, specifically highlighting the stories of free and enslaved people of color living in the area. The talk will share highlights from her research and tips and tricks for researching underdocumented populations. She will specifically focus on telling the stories of the 14 people of color and 11 enslavers living in Upper Salford Township between 1767 and 1795 that she was able to identify through her research.
  • April 27, 7pm at Old Goshenhoppen Reformed Church – Pastor Kevin Park will present his research on the history of the church and its pastors which began nearly 300 years ago.
