The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced that the Baghurst Drive site has been added to the National Priorities List effective September 16, 2014. The National Priorities List is the EPA’s list of uncontrolled or abandoned hazardous waste sites identified for long-term cleanup under the Federal Superfund Program. This site consists of a groundwater plume with volatile organic compounds, the source of which is unknown. As of Fall 2019, representatives from the EPA have been meeting to discuss remediation efforts. Stay tuned as updates are posted to this page!
